So today I finally got the chance to visit Campus Party.

All ready with a VIP pass, I got there at about 09:50 (10 minutes before everything started)

To get a general impression of the event.

First imperssion? Geeks wake up late!

the place was practically empty that early in the morning.

At 10:00 the first lectures started, I went to the one about

"Biohacking and Brain Computer"

The lecture was very interesting, and somewhat odd at times.
The first part was about getting the output of the body to a computer.
Such as detecting muscle twitches, or brainwaves and so on.
The usage for it was shown in the artistic realm, which was very interesting.
However, I think that a very important usage was missing -
The doors it could open to disabled people, reading brainwaves and analyzing the
slightest muscle twitching could give voice to the voiceless.

The second lecture I went to was about Bitcoin.

It was surprisingly interesting (so interesting that I forgot all about the Nano-Tech lecture I was missing)!
Apparently this guy traveled around Europe using nothing but Bitcoin.
It seems that this electronic currency, which is governed by Math instead of Banks basically.
Allows you to transfer without any fees via peer-to-peer.

The third lecture (and the main one of that day) was by Tim Berners-Lee
The Inventor of the World Wide Web.
