I've recently had to create a presentation.
And I chose to use Jmpress.
Jmpress is a port of Impress, which is a library for creating Presentations using Html, CSS & JS.
The only difference is that Jmpress is based on the jQuery library, which is highly extensible.
It's very useful for portability purposes, you can be sure your presentation will look just the same
everywhere and you can share it as easily as sending a link to a webpage.

Another thing I noticed is, because it is Javascript based, all the other Javascript plugins
are available, especially the incredibly powerful Highcharts plugin (to show charts of all kinds,
I will surely post about that soon enough), as well as dynamic content that can be easily added, just like a normal website.

It can even be nested into multiple slides within a slide (even though I've yet to find use for that)

Anyways, you should Try it out, definitely
better than some plain old Power Point presentation.
