A citation worth citing

on Dec.27, 2009, under Brainstorming, Uncategorized

I rarely cite somebody else here, but I felt like doing so this time:
Most of us only care about money making
Selfishness got us following the wrong direction
Wrong information always shown by the media
Negative images is the main criteria
Infecting the young minds faster than bacteria
Kids wanna act like what they see in the cinema
Whatever happened to the values of Humanity
Whatever happened to the Fairness and Equality
Instead of spreading Love we’re spreading animosity
Lack of understanding, leading lives away from unity
That’s the reason why sometimes I’m feeling under
That’s the reason why sometimes I’m feeling down
There’s no wonder why sometimes I’m feeling under
Gotta keep my faith alive till love is found”

I don’t like headlines

Did you ever feel partially numb?
As if you are numb, but you feel weird about it,
Numb enough to feel so little, but still awaken to see that something’s not right.
You start questioning yourself, perhaps it’s just tiredness,
state of mind, or maybe just a slump.
Routine grinds you like it always does, the weeks go by but
You know, you just know that you have a target right in front
of you, and this is it, all this grinding period is leading towards it.
It is partial acceptance that you are building up towards something greater
than what’s happening right now.
It gives hope and motivation.
But why not enjoy the road?

So why do we need privacy?

on Dec.08, 2009, under Brainstorming, Uncategorized

We can talk all day about the new biometric law.
But there’s a difference between a dumb idea that gives the government the entire control over something it can’t understand, and judge people by it
[Framing has never been so easy], and what I’m talking about which is the entire Information Evolution.

The Question then remains:

What is the relativity of Privacy in our future?
As we see the Internet growing, Social Networks thriving and our entire lives scattered to everyone to see,
How far are we really from not being able to do anything privately ?
We were conditioned to think that some things a person must do privately, whether it’s going to the bathroom,
sleeping, having sex or just writing our diary, we were taught as children to keep some things private.
Though it is understandable that people could be concerned when their privacy get’s invaded,
is it really problematic when the entire concept of privacy is not relevant?

I can find a big problem with the current social mechanism, of exploiting to gain power,
how a person could use this lack of privacy to exploit other people’s weaknesses (though it happens today, all the time).
But what if we were to not need power, what if we had sufficient resources for the well-being of the entire human race?

Would we bothered by someone invading our privacy?
In a reality where he can’t use that to exploit us, and everyone else is just like us.

I believe that when you take privacy away, in the current state,
It scares people, and frankly, I understand why.
Institutes and Corporations, Criminals and Governments exploit every portion of privacy that’s taken away from you.

Though as a general idea, in a better time, in a better state of events,
Privacy is Irrelevant .
It only divides us.
